The most important skill in youth basketball is ball handling so it follows that I start there. Dribbling is a purely individual skill, and it is the most important step in the development of a young player. It also builds confidence because a boy or girl who can move with the basketball is valuable to their team. With a foundation of dribbling, a player can then develop the other fundamentals of basketball more quickly.
Whether you are doing basketball for fun, weight management, making friends, building confidence, to make your High School team or go even further, the path is the same: fundamentals and skills and skills with speed. By learning the fundamentals and building confidence, our students become ready for whatever challenge they may face.
PBA will teach you the skills and you can take them as far as you like. On the way though, you will have FUN!
